What qualities do you need to be a Contact Centre Volunteer? Volunteers need to be impartial, caring, tolerant, sensitive, flexible, discreet and reliable. They must always put children's needs first and not take sides with either parent or any other adults involved in the contact.
How much time will I need to give? About 4 hours on the 1st & 3rd Saturday of each month. As a volunteer, you would be part of a team setting-up, supporting contact sessions and tidying away.
What training will I receive? New volunteers joining our team undertake a 10 module NACCC accredited training package delivered face-to-face, online (e-learning) or via a workbooks.
Become a Contact Centre Volunteer. We remain grateful to our Volunteers without which the Contact Centre would not be able to operate. If you are over the age of 18 years and would like to consider joining our Team then please contact us by phone or email or send us a message (below).
